Research Scientist Intern - Computational Biology (Seed AI-for-Science) - 2026 Start (PhD)

ByteDance seeks PhD candidates to develop advanced AI models for molecular structure prediction and drug design. The team focuses on creating structure-centric, multimodal foundation models that address challenges in protein folding, binding affinity, and molecular generation.

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in computational biology, structural biology, CADD, or related field
• Hands-on experience with molecular dynamics, docking, quantum chemistry, and structure prediction software
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and scientific computing
