Job Description

GSK seeks software engineers to develop scalable cloud infrastructure supporting large-scale AI models and agentic systems. The role focuses on building production-grade, data-driven solutions that enable scientific research using modern cloud technologies and biomedical data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads across development lifecycle
  • Implement machine learning pipelines handling massive datasets efficiently
  • Develop cloud-native architectures for deployment and scaling
  • Deliver robust, tested code in agile environments
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and domain experts

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in quantitative/engineering discipline OR equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced Python programming expertise
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Understanding of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure-as-code
  • Shell scripting and command-line proficiency
  • Problem-solving skills in cluster/cloud environments

  • Machine learning principles familiarity
