AIML Software Engineer, Responsible AI

GSK seeks ML and software engineers to develop tooling that implements Responsible AI principles across its pharmaceutical workflows. The role focuses on operationalizing AI ethics guidelines and governance for drug development applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer systems embedding fairness, robustness, transparency, privacy, and security into AI/ML pipelines
• Automate compliance documentation through AI-driven solutions
• Contribute to research on responsible AI in biomedical contexts
• Collaborate with scientists and leaders on GSK's AI strategy implementation

Required Qualifications

• Degree in quantitative/engineering field OR equivalent professional ML/data science experience
• Advanced Python programming expertise with robust software delivery track record
• Machine learning fundamentals and deep learning framework experience (PyTorch preferred)
• Modern software engineering best practices knowledge
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Docker, CI/CD, and MLOps experience
• Biomedical data expertise (genomics, clinical records, imaging)
• Research background or open-source contributions
• Biology, medicine, or ethics knowledge
