Bioinformatics Specialist I - Invitae

Labcorp is seeking a Bioinformatics Specialist I for their Invitae division. This is a remote position in the USA.

Invitae, now part of Labcorp, is a leading genetics company focused on making genetic testing more accessible. As a Bioinformatics Specialist I, you will support genetic testing pipelines and analysis workflows.

Typical responsibilities for this role include

• Supporting bioinformatics pipelines for genetic testing
• Analyzing sequencing data (NGS, WES, WGS)
• Quality control and validation of bioinformatics workflows
• Collaborating with laboratory and clinical teams
• Documentation and reporting

Requirements typically include

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
• Experience with NGS data analysis
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages
• Knowledge of genetics and genomics
