Job Description

The role focuses on building advanced algorithms and technical features within the Computational Discovery team. The position analyzes multi-modal datasets—genomics, clinical outcomes, and imaging—to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in cancer research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead statistical investigations into oncogenesis mechanisms, biomarkers, drug resistance, and disease monitoring
  • Maintain code repositories and ensure dataset quality control
  • Serve as subject matter expert across departments to guide product strategy
  • Collaborate on translational research yielding publications
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in life/mathematical sciences with 4+ years industry/postdoctoral experience; OR Master's degree with 6+ years industry experience (Cancer Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or related field)
  • Proficiency in Python, R, Matlab, or Java

Preferred Qualifications

  • First-author publications demonstrating research experience
  • Expertise in cancer genomics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or machine learning
  • NGS technology and biomarker development knowledge
  • Familiarity with clinical nomenclature and oncology patient pathways
  • SQL, AWS, or AI/deep learning experience
  • Stakeholder management and mentoring capabilities
  • HIPAA and data privacy understanding
