(Senior) Machine Learning Scientist, Oligonucleotides

Insitro seeks an ML scientist to apply their TherML platform for designing oligonucleotide therapeutics while advancing platform capabilities. The role combines hands-on drug discovery work with model development using industry-leading knockdown and off-target datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and refine foundation nucleotide models using comprehensive datasets
• Create generative AI methods for therapeutic optimization
• Collaborate with computational chemists on MD simulation approaches
• Build pipelines for active learning and automated cycles
• Guide platform evolution roadmap

Requirements

• PhD in computational biology, computer science, ML, cheminformatics, or related discipline
• 0-3+ years applying ML to oligonucleotide therapeutics
• Python proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Deep learning/generative AI expertise for RNA/DNA
• Understanding of RNA structure, siRNA/ASO mechanisms, mRNA design
• Genomic sequence analysis skills
• Strong communication abilities for diverse audiences
