Associate Principal Computational Biologist, Neuroscience

Recursion seeks an Associate Principal Computational Biologist to support partnership-driven drug discovery programs in neuroscience. The role focuses on analyzing high-dimensional datasets (phenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) to validate therapeutic targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze high-dimensional datasets to validate therapeutic targets in neuroscience
• Design analyses for target nomination and validation
• Collaborate across biology, chemistry, and computational teams
• Advance drug candidates toward clinical development

Requirements

• PhD in computational biology, systems biology, bioinformatics, neuroscience, or related field with 5+ years biotech/pharma experience OR Master's in relevant field
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R for analyzing matched human clinical and molecular data
• Deep expertise in analysis and data integration of omics data modalities
• Exceptional data visualization abilities
• Strong cross-functional communication skills
