Job Description

Senior Scientist position in Clinical Pharmacology & Quantitative Science at Genmab, an international biotechnology company focused on developing differentiated antibody therapeutics for cancer treatment.

As the Senior Scientist, Quantitative Translational Pharmacology, you will provide pharmacology expertise to programs through all stages of research and development, with a focus on early stage assets. You will define translational modeling and simulation strategy, and lead cross-functional project teams to determine appropriate route of administration, dose levels, and dosing regimens for first-in-human (FIH) clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate in-depth understanding of PK and PD of Genmab's antibody technologies
  • Build and refine platform quantitative system pharmacology models
  • Apply models to guide rational experimental designs and critical decisions on candidate antibody therapies
  • Serve on Compound Development Teams providing pharmacology expertise
  • Lead cross-functional project teams for FIH clinical trial planning

Requirements

  • PharmD or PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in pre-clinical and/or clinical pharmacology in pharma, biotech, or consulting
  • Experience with noncompartmental PK analysis, allometric scaling, PK/PD data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to apply modeling and simulation approaches to drug development
  • Hands-on experience with R programming (highly desired)
  • Experience with NONMEM, WinNonLin/Phoenix, and/or other PK/PD analysis software (preferred)
