Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a computational biology team
• Develop machine learning approaches to improve editing efficiency prediction and specificity modeling
• Create computational pipelines for guide design and transcriptome analysis
• Support clinical development programs through trial design and regulatory submissions
• Advance RNA editing technology through bioinformatics innovation

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field
• 10+ years in biotech/pharma with increasing leadership responsibility
• Expertise in RNA biology, transcriptomics, and NGS data analysis
• Clinical-stage program experience and regulatory submission knowledge
• Strong programming skills (Python, R) and workflow tools (Nextflow, Snakemake, WDL/Cromwell)
• Machine learning background applied to genomics
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proven team-building track record

Preferred

• RNA therapeutics or gene editing experience
• Familiarity with ADAR-mediated RNA editing mechanisms
• Long-read sequencing technology experience

Work Model: Hybrid, ~3 days/week in Cambridge headquarters
