Job Description

This position focuses on advancing human genetics-driven drug discovery across multiple therapeutic areas. The scientist will contribute to disease biology elucidation, mechanism-of-action studies, safety assessment, and biomarker development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams on therapeutic strategies
  • Build datasets and analytic capabilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in human genetics
  • Lead collaborative initiatives with both internal departments and external academic/industry partners
  • Direct participation in analysis, results interpretation and clear communication of results to an audience with diverse expertise

Requirements

  • PhD in Statistical Genetics, Genetic Epidemiology, Computational Biology, Statistics, Computer Science, or related genetics-focused field
  • Minimum 5 years post-PhD industry experience in disease translation within pharmaceutical/biotech settings
  • Deep expertise in standard genetic analyses including GWAS, meta-analysis, QTL evaluation
  • Proficiency in programming languages and biobank-scale dataset analysis
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership capabilities
