Job Description

Regeneron's Statistical Genetics group analyzes genotyped and sequenced human data linked with deep phenotype information to identify the genetic mechanisms of disease and uncover new therapeutic targets. In this role you will perform genome-scale analyses across hundreds of phenotypes and biomarkers, working with biobank-scale human genetic data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform genome-scale analyses across hundreds of phenotypes and biomarkers
  • Maintain and improve analytical workflows in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Integrate computational tools with molecular data to generate disease insights

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Human Genetics, Biostatistics, or a related field
  • 0-2+ years of experience; postdoctoral training or industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or R
  • Experience with large-scale genetic association studies and biobank-scale data analysis
  • Competence with genome/exome-wide association analysis, rare variant analysis, and meta-analysis
  • Experience with cloud computing and genomic analysis tools (e.g., PLINK, REGENIE)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular, metabolic, or musculoskeletal disease experience
  • Knowledge of Mendelian randomization and polygenic risk score modeling
  • LD Score regression and functional data prioritization skills

Salary range: $109,900.00 - $179,300.00 annually.
