Job Description

Pfizer Oncology is building generalist, use case-driven AI solutions to accelerate cancer research and development. Key Responsibilities

  • Build prototypes and production AI solutions across a range of oncology research use cases
  • Develop robust data pipelines and engineering workflows for scientific and healthcare data
  • Apply machine learning techniques to complex healthcare and life-sciences datasets
  • Collaborate closely with scientific teams to translate research needs into engineered solutions
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate to demonstrate value

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 1+ years, in a relevant quantitative field
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare and/or life-sciences data
  • Strong programming skills and the ability to rapidly prototype

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to scientific/research workflows
  • Experience working in cloud environments

Locations: New York, NY (primary); also La Jolla, CA; Cambridge, MA; and Bothell, WA.

Base salary range (U.S.): $139,100.00 - $231,900.00 annually.
