J&J is recruiting for a Technology Product Manager (TPM) – AI-Ready Data Solutions role based in their New Jersey and Ireland offices.

The Technology Product Manager (TPM) – AI-Ready Data is a technology leader having the ownership of solutions and products which will define, benchmark, and advance the AI readiness of data assets across IMSC. This role owns the AI-Ready Data technology capability as a product, including the technical components of AI readiness standards, assessment of current-state readiness across use cases, and delivery of a consolidated, prioritized roadmap of solutions to enable analytics, AI, and GenAI products at scale. The role leads a small team and works in close partnership with Information Architects in the Data Strategy & Operations team, as well as Product Group Leaders, Solution Architects, and AI product teams, to ensure data is trustworthy, secure, and fit for autonomous decision-making.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Own the AI-Ready Data Technology capability as a product, including vision, roadmap, and value realization in partnership with the Information Architecture team

·       Operationalize AI readiness covering data definitions, semantics, lineage, metadata, data quality, security, and compliance based on the criteria defined by the Information Architecture and Data Governance teams

·       Shape the technology capabilities and product roadmap of Knowledge Graph based on the AI use cases

·       Shape and introduce technology to benchmark AI readiness of data assets by AI use cases and application, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies

·       Develop and maintain a consolidated AI-Ready Data roadmap aligned to AI product needs, platform strategy, and enterprise standards in partnership with the Information Architecture team

·       Partner with Information Architects in Data Strategy & Operations to align semantic models, domains, and canonical definitions to AI needs

·       Enable AI product teams by providing transparency into readiness status, roadmap timing, and required mitigations

·       Lead and develop a small team of direct reports, providing clarity of goals, coaching, and performance feedback

Other Duties:

  • Good business and financial acumen; capable of aligning AI Ready data initiatives with strategic goals.

  • Proven expertise in AI-driven transformation, including decision intelligence, agentic AI, and other transformative approaches.

  • Ontology & Semantic Modelling Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Information Architects on ontology‑driven and semantic modelling approaches to harmonize data across domains and systems.

    • Support the use of semantic layers to shape the capabilities required for AI consumption.

  • Good communication, influence, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional alignment

Required Minimum Education:        Bachelor’s Degree

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, information systems, STEM, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered. Academic qualifications or professional training in legal and regulatory areas are desirable.

  • 10 years of experience in technology management, Experience with independent P&L responsibilities is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience directing cross-functional teams /initiatives in complex organizational contexts.

  • 5+ years of hands-on AI experience in information-intensive or digitally advanced industries.

  • 5+ years of experience in Data/Data Platforms with enterprise scale

  • 5+ years of experience in Automation specifically with progressive AI tools and technologies

  • Track record of fostering and embracing change and being part of multidisciplinary teams through business and technology transformations.

  • Industry and vertical-specific knowledge, and experience working with or within multiple industries, is desirable.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
