Key Responsibilities

Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, encompassing traditional ML, as well as DL and LLMs.

Knowledge Graph Implementation: Utilize knowledge graphs to represent and query structured biological data, enabling relationship discovery, and reasoning over gene-drug-disease interactions.

Software Engineering: Write well-documented, extensible software code that is easy to maintain, and that adheres to generally accepted programming standards and OOP practices.

Data Integration: Integrate heterogeneous data sources, such as gene expression profiles, pathway data, gene metadata, and others, to draw insights and create representations for AI analysis.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with bioinformatics experts and software engineers to align AI solutions with customer requests and our company’s strategic goals.

Ethical AI: Ensure transparent reporting of AI methodologies and limitations to maintain public trust, addressing risks like model bias, data security, and intellectual property.

Position Requirements

  • +5 years working as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in machine learning and AI-driven projects.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and model development
  • Strong understanding of ML algorithms and inferential statistics
