Why CompBioJobs exists

CompBioJobs lists jobs in computational biology, bioinformatics and biostatistics. Most come from company career pages and are updated every day. Some come from employers who post a role directly through the site.

I built it for myself. I work in computational biology, and every job search ran into the same problem. General job boards treat bioinformatics as a keyword. Academic boards leave out industry, and industry boards leave out the science. So I made one page with the roles I actually wanted to see. It was one of my first projects with Claude, built for fun, and all I wanted was to make my own search a bit easier.

I keep it running because most of it runs on its own now, and I found that other people were using it too.

A job shows up here because it passed my filter. If you spot a listing that is out of date or wrong, email me and I will take it down. If you are an employer and want a job added, post it here or email me. The first post is free, and the other options are on the pricing page.
