Sr. Principal Scientist, Spatial Omics

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Principal Scientist, Spatial Omics. This senior scientific role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for designing, optimizing, and validating molecular and spatial assays to ensure robustness, reproducibility, and biological interpretability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead spatial omics initiatives with deep technical expertise
• Design, optimize and validate spatial assays
• Work across disciplines and functional areas
• Apply novel approaches to address complex biology questions

Requirements

• Deep technical spatial omics expertise including end-to-end workflows
• Experience with Multiomic Datasets
• Strong peer-reviewed publications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PhD in relevant field with significant experience

Preferred

• Proficiency in R or Python
• In vitro cell culture and genomics library design experience
• Experience bridging biologists and data scientists
