Principal AI and Automation Strategy Lead, Statistical Programming

This role focuses on modernizing statistical programming workflows through artificial intelligence and process optimization. The Principal AI and Automation Strategy Lead will collaborate with statistical programming and technology teams to identify inefficiencies and implement AI-driven enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities in statistical programming
• Gather requirements and develop AI solutions using low/no-code platforms or advanced development
• Design AI/ML validation strategies and oversee deployment
• Provide technical training to end users
• Guide technical strategy and foster innovation culture

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years relevant experience with 3+ years in data engineering, automation, and AI
• Expertise in Python, R, SAS, and SQL
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG frameworks, and vector databases
• Understanding of AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3)
• Healthcare/clinical data familiarity preferred
• Knowledge of AI ethics and governance frameworks
