Job Description

Revolution Medicines seeks a statistical leader for their Medical Analytics and Exploratory Data Science group to drive analyses on clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and health economics research for their RAS-targeted oncology pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver statistical oversight for exploratory analyses using clinical trial and real-world data
  • Function as primary statistical liaison for assigned initiatives across clinical, medical affairs, safety, and regulatory teams
  • Direct design and interpretation of survival analysis, machine learning, and causal inference models
  • Establish statistical policies and quality standards
  • Oversee external partner relationships and CRO performance
  • Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to scientific publications and regulatory interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or M.S. in Statistics/Biostatistics with 8+ years (Ph.D.) or 12+ years (M.S.) pharma/biotech experience
  • Solid knowledge of statistical methodologies for oncology, including survival analysis and causal inference
  • Hands-on oncology trial analysis experience
  • Independent leadership of complex, cross-functional statistical projects
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for biostatistics and clinical trials
  • Proficiency in SAS and/or R

Preferred Qualifications

  • Real-world data and health economics research knowledge in oncology
  • Familiarity with machine learning or advanced modeling for biomedical data

Compensation: $211,000 - $264,000 USD. Work arrangement: Hybrid (Redwood City, CA headquarters).
